Compass North Church will partner with churches all around the world as we all make a difference in our local cities. Through serve day, we will show our city the love and compassion of Jesus through acts of service.
A Day of Action
On July 13th we’ll serve our community and put God’s love to work.
Beautifying the Neighborhood
Through various projects, we’ll beautify houses in the area surrounding Joy Park. We’ll also bless a few families with major projects, like a new roof.
Love
At the end of the day, it’s about love. As Christ’s ambassadors, it’s our job to love one another and serve one another.

Here’s some needed info for the day:
We’ll all meet starting at 8am at the Joy Park Community Center. That’s at 825 James Ingram Way Akron, OH. At 8:40am there will be a prayer rally for the day and then we’ll head out to our houses for the morning. At registration, you’ll receive your serve day shirt, serve location, and there will be a light breakfast served. Lunch will be provided and we suggest you bring sunscreen for the day. Want to help out more? We have some items needed for the day including:
Coolers
Ice
Bug spray
Water
Band-aids
Wasp spray

Sign-ups are open through the morning of Serve Day 19. While we have closed online registration, you can still register when you arrive on July 13th!
