The Church we see is vibrant,

full of life and uncontainable excitement; a Church whose passion is to communicate Biblical truth in a way that speaks to the soul, rekindles hope and breathes meaning into life.

We see a Church whose

atmosphere is charged with the power of God, brought to life by the presence of God and fueled by the Holy Spirit; a Church on fire, resonating with songs of passionate worship and strengthened by authentic relationships.

The Church we see is not

bound by walls of fear or racism, but freely embraces diversity of color, personality, background, age and talent. It is a beautiful mosaic that reflects the image of our infinitely skilled and creative Maker.

We see a Church that

has one all-consuming desire: to see God’s kingdom purposes accomplished in the earth. It is a Church whose head is Jesus, and whose body is united, committed to praying powerful prayers and living out bold dreams.

The Church we see is

an unstoppable force, changing lives in our community, making a difference in our country and significantly impacting nations for Christ. It is a Church that is hungry to see lost souls saved and broken lives restored.

The Church we see is

a sending center; a place from which a generation of mighty leaders is emerging; grounded, skilled, and equipped to go to the ends of the earth and shake the nations for God. This Church we see is a beautiful, inspiring and humbling sight; a picture of who God has called us to be. The Church we see is our Church.

Vision

Compass North Church exists to help people navigate the way to Jesus.

Then God said, “you’ve been going around in circles in these hills long enough; go north.
Deuteronomy 2:2-3 (the Message)

Values

True North Values:

We Make It Fun: We make it hard for people to go to hell, by making it fun to go to church.

We Preach Jesus: We will do anything short of sin to reach people for Jesus.

We Grow People: We teach people to swim in the shallow end.

We Help People Find Freedom: We are Jesus people walking in the power of His resurrection.

We Influence Culture: We are the thermostat, not the thermometer.

We Pursue Purpose: We empower people to use their God-given gifts to impact their world.

We Are Generous: We are generosity rock stars living to leave a legacy.
